Their shop is at 114 Burness Road and is open in season..   Hours vary from 9-5pm Monday to Saturday mid April –July when both mandarins and Avocados are available. In November - April the shop is only open Friday and Saturday.     We have 200 Hass avocado trees along with a few Reed. They are approximately 15 years old and divided into 9 bays which are surrounded with Alders and Sheoaks for wind protection. Organised casual walks in the orchard are welcomed. Prior notice for large groups would be appreciated.    The avocado is in fact, a fruit not a vegetable as many believe. Compared to all other fruits Avocados are incredibly nutritious containing a wide range of vitamins, minerals and micronutrients along with mono and polyunsaturated fat acid and protein; but NO cholesterol.
